December 2008 Visa Bulletin Published
It’s available at:

Very little movement for EB2 and EB3 categories. Due to availability of new visa numbers for fiscal year 2009, we were hopeful that there would be a larger movement in the processing dates, but that doesn’t appear to be happening.

USCIS is claiming that in FY09 it will bring the processing time for the I-485 & I-140 to four months. With the backlog in I-485 for EB3 & EB2 would there be any real benefits ?

The change that USCIS was talking about was on their service center processing times. Not the Department of Labor visa availability which they release in the bulletin. If they do manage to do what they are talking about (which I doubt), that’s likely to mean that I-140 processing will be faster, which will be a great relief for many.
However, I-485 dates are not likely to get current though. So, overall Green Card processing times are likely to remain in the 4 to 8 year range.

Nothing seems to be easier than seeing someone whom you can help but not helping.
I suggest we start giving it a try. Give love to the ones that need it.
God will appreciate it.
