I really did not think this could fail. The act asks that children of illegal immigrants that were brought to the US when they were very young, should get a path to citizenship. I don’t really trust that he’s going to actually get CIR done in 2010. No chance in my opinion. But I do think it shows that Mexican Leaders and the Hispanic Caucus is putting pressure on him to address it. We’re watching, Mr. Obama.

Not good for CIR. My heart goes out to those affected by the oil spill, but also to the ~15 million immigrants (3-4 million legal) whose lives are affected every day that the CIR is pushed back further.
